EFCOG Waste Management Working Group Meeting

The Energy Facilities Contractors Group (EFCOG) promotes excellence in all aspects of the operation, management, and integration of Department of Energy (DOE) facilities in a safe, environmentally sound, efficient and cost-effective manner through the ongoing exchange of information on lessons learned.

Once again, EFCOG will hold its Fall Meeting in conjunction with RadWaste Summit 2015 on Tuesday, September 8 from 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, September 10 from 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. in Summerlin, NV. This year’s meeting will focus on the role of contractors as it concerns:

  • Transportation and packaging
  • Solutions for lab-generated waste streams
  • Loss of experts in the workforce
  • Tank integrity issues
  • DOE-related issues
