Pre-Conference Workshop: Innovate, Evolve, and Accelerate: NNSA is Delivering Mission Readiness in a Changing World

Every part of the ecosystem is under fresh scrutiny and in motion—policy, procedures, research and development, technology innovation, and infrastructure alike. Nothing stands still. Change has become constant, and its pace keeps quickening.
Furthermore, DOE and DOD are increasingly serving as consumers of technology rather than its drivers. Commercial technology and capital now shape policy, procurement, and the wider innovation ecosystem, compelling the enterprise to embrace proven commercial practices and match commercial speed. What once passed for blue-sky thinking has become reality—advancing rapidly, and in many directions at once.
The pre-conference will feature leaders from the DOE, NNSA, and the private sector who will offer insights and real-world examples that illustrate how the enterprise is moving forward. They will explore how the NSE is operating with greater speed and flexibility, translating innovation into scalable solutions, and integrating these changes to deliver the mission on time and on budget.
