Military to Charge Malmstrom Missileer in Connection with Drug Investigation

By ExchangeMonitor
The 20th Air Force has announced that the military will prosecute a missileer in connection with an unreleased drug investigation that also uncovered cheating on monthly proficiency tests among missileers at Malmstrom AFB. 2nd Lt. Nicole Dalmazzi, of the 341st Missile Wing’s 12th Missile Squadron at Malmstrom AFB, is the first missileer the Air Force has said it will bring illegal drug use charges against. Malmstrom spokesperson Josh Aycock on Dec. 3 told Weapons Complex Morning Briefing that Dalmazzi will face two charges from the Uniform Code of Military Justice: Wrongful use of Schedule 1, 2 or 3 narcotics and obstruction of justice, alleged to stem from dyeing her hair to influence drug tests, which would have impeded the drug investigation. Her court-martial is scheduled for Jan. 21.
