The story “After watchdog disclosure, DOE says potential vapor issue at Hanford pretreatment plant ‘resolved’” [Weapons Complex Morning Briefing, April 13, 2022] should have said that a private group, not an internal DOE report, raised concerns about people and animals outside of the Hanford Site being potentially exposed to the toxic compound acetonitrile.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
