Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS), the tank operations contractor at the Hanford Site in Washington state, finished emptying 16 waste storage tanks at the C Farm to regulatory standards in 2017. An article in the Monday edition of Weapons Complex Morning Briefing misstated the contractor that performed the work.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
