END OF YEAR PASSES WITH NO AWARD ON ECMS CONTRACT

By ExchangeMonitor

Bidders for the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Enterprise Construction Management Services contract are still waiting for a decision after an informal award deadline came and passed. NNSA Associate Administrator for Acquisition and Project Management Bob Raines said in December that the agency was on track to award the contract by the end of the year. The agency didn’t respond yesterday to a request seeking clarification of the procurement timeline. The agency has moved quickly since announcing the contract in September, using the General Services Administration Professional Engineering Services schedule to help accelerate the procurement, which is designed to provide front-end project planning help for the agency. At least four teams submitted bids for the contract in November, including teams led by Project Time and Cost, Booz Allen Hamilton, Parsons, and Logistics Management Institute.
