SAVANNAH RIVER NUCLEAR SOLUTIONS PRESIDENT DWAYNE WILSON TO LEAVE SITE

By ExchangeMonitor
Savannah River Nuclear Solutions President and CEO Dwayne Wilson announced yesterday that he is transferring to another post with the Fluor Corporation. Wilson has led the Savannah River M&O contractor since September 2011, and is expected to leave in mid-to-late June. SRNS hasn’t yet named his successor. During Wilson’s time at the site he oversaw the wind down of the Recovery Act, helped push for new missions at the H-Canyon facility and spearheaded safety initiatives across Savannah River. “When I joined SRNS in 2011, I was immediately impressed by the intellect and dedication of this tremendous workforce. My experience since has reinforced those initial impressions,” said Wilson said in a speech to employees yesterday.

The DOE Savannah River management team “wishes Dwayne success in this new position,” spokesman Jim Giusti said in a written response. “It has been our pleasure to partner with him on many SRS mission successes and challenges over his tenure at the helm of SRNS.”
