Senate Armed Services to Hear From Three Pentagon Nominees

The Senate returns to Capitol Hill today, and the Senate Armed Services Committee has scheduled a hearing Thursday to consider the nominations of three Pentagon officials.

Ambassador to Norway Kenneth Braithwaite has been nominated to become the next Navy secretary, Pacific Air Forces Commander Gen. Charles Brown is nominated to become the next Air Force chief of staff, and James Anderson is nominated to become the next deputy undersecretary of defense for policy.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. It will be livestreamed.
