Fluor Corp. said Tuesday it has promoted Bruce Stanski, president of Fluor’s Government Group since 2009, to chief financial officer of the parent company.
Stanski on Aug. 4 will officially replace Biggs Porter, who is retiring.
Porter joined Fluor as chief financial officer in May 2012 after six years as CEO of Tenet Healthcare. At Fluor he headed functions including finance, audit, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions.
Replacing Stanski as head of Fluor Government Geoup is former National Nuclear Security Administrator Thomas D’Agostino, who joined the company in 2013 and was most recently the group’s senior vice president.
Fluor has over 60,000 employees spread across the globe and is a major contractor in the Department of Energy nuclear cleanup complex.
The company is a major DOE partner at the Idaho Site cleanup; the Portsmouth and Paducah sites; and the Savannah River National Laboratory, among others.
