27 – The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is hosting a two-part virtual meeting on its environmental justice review. Information on virtual access available here. Starts 1 p.m. Eastern time.

28 – The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is hosting an in-person meeting on Duane Arnold Energy Center’s Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report (PSDAR). Meeting to be held at Palo Community Center, located at 2800 Hollenbeck Rd, Palo, Iowa. Starts 6 p.m. Central time (7 p.m. Eastern time).

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
