Wolfenbarger Named to AECOM Board of Directors

By ExchangeMonitor
Former commander of Air Force Materiel Command, retired Gen. Janet Wolfenbarger, has been named to AECOM’s Board of Directors effective Aug. 1. “It is an honor to welcome General Wolfenbarger to our Board of Directors,” said AECOM Chairman and CEO Michael Burke. “Her impressive experience in managing complex military organizations, as well as her diverse expertise in executing support through leading-edge science and technology, will extend the Board’s already broad set of strengths and perspectives and be a substantial benefit as AECOM continues to grow its business.” Wolfenbarger commanded AFMC at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, from 2012 until she retired on July 1. She previously served as Vice Commander and Director of the AFMC Intelligence and Requirements Directorate at Wright-Patterson, and was among the first female cadets accepted by the Air Force Academy.
