26th Annual Decisionmakers? Forum Kicks Off Today

The 26th Annual Weapons Complex Monitor Decisionmakers’ Forum kicks off this evening in Amelia Island, Fla., and will run through Thursday. Keynote speakers this week include Rep. Doc Hastings (R-Wash.), Mark Whitney, the Department of Environmental Management’s acting assistant secretary, Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board Chairman Peter Winokur, DOE Associate Deputy Secretary of Energy Bruce Held, DOE EM Associate Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Monica Regalbuto, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Director Catherine Templeton, and Atomic Energy of Canada’s Joan Miller. The forum will also include roundtable discussions on topics such as contract management challenges, cleanup progress at Savannah River and Hanford, and perspectives from industry executives on cleanup.
