AMENDMENT TO COMBINED PRO FORCE CONTRACT MAKES MINOR CHANGES TO RFP

By ExchangeMonitor
Bidders for the National Nuclear Security Administration’s combined Oak Ridge/Y-12/Pantex protective force contract now have a couple more hours to submit their proposals. The NNSA issued the first amendment to the procurement’s Request for Proposals late Friday, making minor adjustments to the solicitation. The changes included making proposals due by 12 p.m. Mountain Time on Aug. 10 rather than Eastern Time, allowing the hand delivery of proposals, and allowing three pages for the resumes of key personnel rather than two. The amendment also adjusted the Site, Post and Hour requirements to include canine teams and adjusted some information due for past performance. The agency also released a second round of questions and answers for the procurement Friday afternoon.
