ORP Gets New Chief of Staff

Mark Edgren has joined the Department of Energy Office of River Protection as chief of staff. He is the permanent replacement of Erik Olds, who became chief of staff of the DOE Richland Operations Office earlier this year. Edgren retired from the U.S. Army as a colonel after 29 years, ending his military career as chief of the Joint Staff’s Environment Development Division in Suffolk, Va. He has held other Army positions as executive officer and aide and taught for several years at the university level. His experience includes career development, process improvement, auditing, and contract and financial management.
