The B61 refurbishment program will be the subject of a House Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee hearing Oct. 10. The hearing is expected to be held despite the government shutdown, and will include testimony from Strategic Command chief Gen. Robert Kehler, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Global Strategic Affairs Madelyn Creedon, NNSA weapons program chief Don Cook, and Sandia National Laboratories Deputy Laboratories Director and Executive Vice President for National Security Programs Jerry McDowell. The hearing will take place from 2-4 p.m. in Room 2212 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
