Fred Bailly joined Southern California Edison as vice president of nuclear decommissioning, according to Bailly’s LinkedIn profile.
Bailly will be responsible for decommissioning of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. He joins Southern California Edison from Westinghouse, where he was most recently vice president of decommissioning services. He was with Westinghouse for about two years and left in September, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Bailly will replace Doug Bauder. Bauder is retiring, according to a report in the local San Diego Union Tribune. His last day is Oct. 31, the paper said.
The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station shut down in 2013.
