Correction

By ExchangeMonitor

An article in the June 17 edition of RadWaste Monitor mischaracterized ownership of Areva SA and Areva New Co. The French state controls about 87 percent of Areva SA and is expected to control up to 67 percent of New Co. The article also wrongly attributed to Areva a cost overrun estimate for the construction of the Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3. Finally, only Areva NP is planned to be sold to French utility EDF.
