DOE Issues Draft Performance Work Statement for New Ports. Infrastructure Contract

By ExchangeMonitor

The Department of Energy yesterday issued a draft Performance Work Statement for the new Portsmouth infrastructure support services contract. In addition, DOE said it has “tentatively scheduled” a pre-solicitation conference for the new contract the week of July 14.

The new contract is being set-aside for small businesses, and is set to run for up to five years, consisting of a two-year base period and three one-year option periods. The contract is expected to include Firm-Fixed-Price, Cost Reimbursement, and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract line items (CLINs), DOE said. Work to be performed under the contract, according to DOE, includes surveillance, maintenance and repair of facilities; janitorial services; grounds maintenance, snow removal, and pest control; roadway/parking lot maintenance; computing, telecommunication, and cyber security; fleet management; real and personal property management; records management and document control; safeguards and security; environment, safety, health, and quality (ESH&Q) program; and training services.
