DOE RELEASES EM FY’15 BUDGET DETAILS

By ExchangeMonitor

The Department of Energy yesterday posted budget details here for the Office of Environmental Management’s Fiscal Year 2015 budget request. Sites that saw the biggest cuts over current enacted levels include Richland, at about a $98 million cut, Paducah at a nearly $55 million cut and Oak Ridge, with a cut of about $45 million. Meanwhile, sites that saw a boost over enacted levels include Savannah River at a $27 million increase, the Office of River Protection at a $25 million increase and Portsmouth, at about a $22 million increase. The detailed budget justification comes more than two weeks after the Department first released top line budget numbers.
