The Department of Energy yesterday issued a partial draft Request for Proposals for the Idaho Cleanup Project Core Contract, in advance of an industry day, site tour and one-on-ones with potential bidders next week. The draft RFP includes services and prices (section B), a draft performance work statement (section C), instructions to offers (section L) and evaluation factors (section M), but not sections dealing with special contract requirements or clauses (section H) that have been the subject of debate in other recent procurements such as the recently awarded Paducah deactivation contract.
Comments and questions are requested but DOE notes that it: "does not anticipate posting responses to any comments, questions, suggested changes, and/or feedback received; however, all input will be considered in developing the Final RFP. Additionally, the Draft RFP is subject to change in the development of the Final RFP as a result of the DOE’s consideration of the input received from interested parties in response to the Draft RFP."
