The Department of Energy has updated the base and option periods for two separate draft Request for Proposals for infrastructure support services at the Paducah and Portsmouth sites. The Portsmouth draft now includes a three-year base period and a two-year option period, rather than the originally planned two-year base period and three one-year option periods. Infrastructure services at the Portsmouth site are currently being performed by Wastren-EnergX Mission Support under a contract set to expire in July 2015. The Paducah draft now also includes a two-year base and three one-year options, rather than a one-year base period and four one-year options. Infrastructure services at the Paducah site are currently being performed by Swift and Staley under a contract set to expire in March 2015.
