Energy Communities Alliance will hold a virtual meeting on Dec. 4 to discuss colocating nuclear reactors with artificial intelligence data centers.
The webinar, “Advancing New Nuclear with Datacenter Development”, will also explore concerns local officials must address, such as community engagement, regulatory considerations and siting. The session will discuss issues on co-locating nuclear power reactors with data centers.
Speakers for the webinar include Iain Macdonald, HKS Architects principal and future energy systems development lead, Ilissa Miller, editor-in-chief at DataCenter Post, and Aditi Verma, an assistant professor at the University of Michigan. ECA Director of Programs AJ Ridge will moderate the discussion.
The one-hour session starts at 2 p.m. Eastern Time and is the second webinar in ECA’s winter webinar series.
