The Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management announced the award or modification of tasks to three small, disadvantaged businesses yesterday under Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts awarded last summer. North Wind Solutions was awarded a $1 million time and materials task order to provide technical support to EM over a three year performance period, according to a release from EM’s Consolidated Business Center. It also modified a task order to J.G. Management Systems for administrative and program analytical support to EM, which has a $3.1 million value with a one-year base period and two one year options. And Aspen Resources Limited was awarded a modification to a task order for support of the Waste Treatment Plant at Hanford that increased the value to $1.6 million from $833,499, with a one-year performance period and two one-year options. Last June seven 8(a) small disadvantaged businesses won ID/IQs for technical support work for EM.
