A team led by Salt Lake City-based EnergySolutions has won $240 million worth of radiological support services business with the U.S. Navy, the company announced this week.

EnergySolutions said it has won a position on the Navy’s Radiological Support Services (RADMAC III) multiple-award contract, valued at up to $240 million.

The contract was issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC) to support radiological response, investigation, and remediation across the NAVFAC global enterprise, according to a Tuesday press release from EnergySolutions.

Under RADMAC III, the team will provide radiological services that include waste management, site characterization, decontamination and decommissioning and related environmental work at Navy and Marine Corps installations worldwide, the company said.

EnergySolutions led a team that includes Tetra Tech and small business partners such as TerranearPMC and others. The deal includes a five-year base period and one five-year option, running  through November 2033, according to the release.

EnergySolutions has performed remediation, radiological and waste management work for the Navy for decades, the company said.

“We are honored to continue supporting the U.S. Navy in their mission to remediate and restore historically impacted sites,” said EnergySolutions President and CEO Ken Robuck. “Our decades-long partnership with the Navy, combined with our experienced workforce, best-in-class facilities, and proprietary technologies, positions us to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality solutions that meet the Navy’s evolving environmental needs.”

A total of six awards were made for this contract. EnergySolutions is an international nuclear services company.
