The Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association’s annual business opportunities conference kicks off tonight in Knoxville, Tenn., and runs through Thursday. Speakers from the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management include Acting Assistant Secretary Mark Whitney, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition and Project Management Jack Surash, David Hess from the EM Consolidated Business Center and Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Waste Management Christine Gelles. From the National Nuclear Security Administration, speakers include Associate Administrator for Acquisition and Project Management Bob Raines and Small Business Program Manager Greg Gonzales. Also on the agenda is DOE Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Director John Hale.
