Mark Fallon, former head of CH2M’s nuclear business group, will leave the company on Sept. 2 for another job, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Fallon, most recently corporate vice president and president of the company’s global regions business, “is resigning as both an officer and a director effective September 2, 2016 to pursue another professional opportunity,” the company stated in the 8-K filing. “CH2M appreciates Mr. Fallon’s contributions over the years and wishes him well in his endeavors.”
As head of the nuclear business, Fallon was responsible for the company’s defense nuclear work for the Energy Department, including at DOE’s Oak Ridge, Hanford and West Valley sites. He left that role in 2014 to become head of the company’s European operations across all business units, including CH2M’s cleanup work at the Dounreay nuclear site in Scotland.
It was not immediately clear who would replace Fallon as head of the global business.
Fallon was 46 years old in March, according to a DEF 14A proxy statement CH2M filed with the SEC in March ahead of its annual shareholders meeting in May.
