FORMER NAVAL REACTORS CHIEF NAMED CEO OF SYSTEMS PLANNING AND ANALYSIS

Former National Nuclear Security Administration Naval Reactors chief Kirkland Donald has joined Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. The retired admiral joined SPA as its Executive Vice President in June after a 37-year Navy career, where he served as the head of the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program and Deputy Administrator for NNSA’s Office of Naval Reactors. Before heading up the Office of Naval Reactors, Donald served as the commander of the U.S. Submarine Forces. According to the Alexandria, Va.-based company, SPA provides “decision support” for national security programs at the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security and Energy.
