Hanford Live Goes Live This Wednesday

Top officials on the Hanford Site cleanup, along with federal and state regulators, will take questions from an online audience Wednesday as part of the Hanford Live event.

Those interested can register online ahead of the webinar, which is slated to begin at 10 p.m. Eastern time.

Scheduled federal and state attendees include:

  • Doug Shoop, manager of the Energy Department’s Richland Operations Office.
  • Ben Harp, deputy manager of DOE’s Office of River Protection at Hanford.
  • Alex Smith, manager of the Washington state Ecology Department’s Nuclear Waste Program.
  • Dennis Faulk, manager of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Hanford Project Office for the agency’s Region 10.
  • Susan Leckband, chair of the Hanford Advisory Board.
