The patent for Holtec International’s HI-STORM UMAX, a system for underground spent fuel storage, has received an Edison Patent Award from the Research & Development Council of New Jersey. Holtec accepted the honor in the public health & safety category. The award recognizes New Jersey-based scientists and inventors.
