House Appropriations, E&W panel, call off markups this week

The House Appropriations Committee and its Energy and Water subcommittee have postponed both subcommittee and full committee markups for this week.

Due to the recently announced change in the House calendar, markups originally planned for the week of July 7th are postponed,” according to House Appropriations Committee Chair Tom Cole (R-OK) said in a July 3 press release. Revised dates will be announced once finalized.

The subcommittee markup was originally scheduled to take place on Monday at 6 p.m. Eastern Time and its full committee markup was scheduled for Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
