House Approves FY15 Stop-Gap Funding Measure

By ExchangeMonitor

The House of Representatives voted 319-108 late yesterday to approve a Continuing Resolution to continue to fund government programs at the start of Fiscal Year 2015 in the absence of completed individual appropriations bills. The Senate is expected to follow suit and approve the measure as early as today. The CR would fund most Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration programs at annualized Fiscal Year 2014 levels through Dec. 11. It also contains provisions intended to help address funding needs at the Portsmouth D&D project and the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant.
