JRC Integrated Systems is receiving a $47.4 million contract modification to provide technical and engineering support for the Navy’s Nuclear-armed, Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) program through 2030.
The $47,393,736 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification, which includes optional line items, was awarded by Strategic Systems Programs under previously awarded contract N0003026C7001, according to the Pentagon’s contracts page on Sept. 17.
The effort is aimed to support items like systems engineering and integration, test and flight-test engineering, and modeling and simulation.
JRC also will provide support for Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), executive and tactical nuclear weapons subject matter expertise, and program management and acquisition activities, the notice said.
Work will be performed primarily in Washington, D.C. (80%), with additional work in Bangor, Wash. (15%) and Norfolk, Va. (5%). The work is expected to be completed Nov. 30, 2030.
Fiscal 2025 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation funds in the Navy’s budget totaling $10.14 million will be obligated on the award, with no funds expiring at the end of the current fiscal year.
The contract was awarded as a sole-source acquisition under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and was previously synopsized on SAM.gov.
