Kiewit Nuclear taps Leita as vice president of markets, strategy

By ExchangeMonitor

Kansas-based Kiewit Nuclear Solutions has picked Jeff Leita, formerly of Amentum, as vice president of markets and strategy for its Department of Energy management and operations business line, Kiewit said in a news release this week.

Leita has much experience across the nuclear, federal and national security sectors, where he has led complex efforts and strategic customer engagement, Kiewit said in the release.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Leita came to Kiewit in January from Amentum where he has been a vice president of business development since 2020.

In his new role, Leita will oversee market strategy and long-range growth planning across DOE, supporting Kiewit’s continued expansion in mission-critical infrastructure delivery.

Kiewit is a major builder of power plants and other key infrastructure. It also has a nuclear footprint, having agreed last summer to lead construction of an advanced nuclear unit at DOE’s Idaho National Laboratory. Kiewit also completed construction of a new underground ventilation system at DOE’s Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in New Mexico.
