A team led by Logistics Management Institute is protesting the National Nuclear Security Administration’s decision to award its Enterprise Construction Management Services contract to a team led by Parsons Infrastructure and Technology. Parsons, which teamed with Project Assistance Corp. and Vector Resources, was awarded the contract Jan. 31 to strengthen the NNSA’s front-end project planning. A one-year contract with four one-year options, the contract could be worth as much as $125 million over five years. LMI, which teamed with Alion Science and Technology, did not respond to a request for comment, and it’s unclear on what grounds the company is protesting. The contract award to Parsons has been put on hold during the protest.
