LMI WITHDRAWS PROTEST OF NNSA ECMS AWARD TO PARSONS

By ExchangeMonitor

A team led by Logistics Management Institute has withdrawn its protest of the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Enterprise Construction Management Services contract, which was awarded to a team led by Parsons Infrastructure and Technology in late January. LMI had protested the award Feb. 8, and is believed to have argued that Parsons should have been downgraded for its performance building the Salt Waste Processing Facility at the Savannah River Site and that other work across the weapons complex presented conflict of interest concerns. Parsons is believed to have withdrawn its protest after the NNSA filed its response to the Government Accountability Office in the case. Parsons teamed with Project Assistance Corp. and Vector Resources to win the contract to provide professional and technical services to NNSA and serve as a project integrator for projects across the complex valued between $10 million to $750 million.
