LOOKING AHEAD

  •  The Center for Strategic and International Studies is set to hold a discussion today on “National Security and U.S. Domestic Uranium Enrichment Requirements. Speakers will include Drew Walter from the House Armed Services Committee, Jonathan Epstein from the Senate Armed Services Committee, Nonproliferation Policy Education Center Executive Director Henry Sokolski, and Mark Holt from the Congressional Research Service. The discussion will be held from 1:30 to 3 pm at the CSIS offices, 1800 K St. in Washington.
  • The House Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee will examine the creation of the NNSA during a hearing at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Former NNSA Administrator Linton Brooks, former Los Alamos National Laboratory   Director Bob Kuckuck, and GAO Natural Resources and Environment Director Gene Aloise will testify at the hearing.
