Hanford site services contractor Mission Support Alliance, LLC, yesterday announced that Bill Johnson will be taking over as MSA president from Frank Armijo, effective Feb. 2. Johnson was most recently vice president of business services for Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions, where he oversaw operations services to the utilities PSEG Long Island and the Long Island Power Authority. Armijo has been MSA president and general manager since 2010, and will continue as vice president of Energy Solutions for Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions. “I am proud of the work and service we have established,” Armijo said in a statement. “I am especially proud of the people and leadership we have developed with the utmost regard to safety, security, service and cost savings. It has all been accomplished with a strong partnership with Department of Energy and the site contractors. Bill Johnson is an exceptional leader and will be a partner in this critical endeavor.”
