The Department of Energy has awarded Navarro Research and Engineering the task order for support services to the Depleted Hexafluoride Conversion Project at the Paducah and Portsmouth sites. The $20 million time-and-materials task order has a three-year performance period and two one-year extension options. The award comes just four months after DOE released a solicitation for the small businesses set-aside in mid-December. Services under the contract would include project and operation support to DUF6, administrative and records management, information technology, safeguards and security, nuclear material management, quality assurance, an environmental risk assessment and environment, and safety and health support.
