The National Nuclear Security Administration yesterday issued a presolicitation notice for a full and open competition for the contract covering management and operations of the Nevada National Security Site. National Security Technologies, LLC, currently holds the contract, which is set to expire in September 2016. The follow-on contract is expected to have a five year base period and a five year option period, with a solicitation issued before the end of fiscal year 2015. The contract is expected to be worth $500 million to $600 million per year.
