NO VOTES PLANNED FOR TEXAS COMPACT MEETING THIS WEEK

By ExchangeMonitor

The Texas-Vermont Compact will hold a meeting Sept. 26 in Montpelier, Vt. Though the Commission will not be holding any votes at the meeting, it will discuss important considerations for the Compact moving forward, and will hear a presentation from Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin (D). The commissioners will discuss when it may determine radioactive material qualifies as waste, and receive an update on the contested rate case hearing that several large generators in Texas have brought against Waste Control Specialists. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. ET, 8 a.m. CT, and will be held at the Vermont State House, 115 State Street, Room 11.
