The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will host its seventh annual Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop on Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time at NRC’s headquarters in Rockville, Md.
This year’s workshop will be titled: “Navigating the AI Landscape: Regulator Transformation, Industry Innovation, and Global Collaboration.” According to the event’s agenda, it will heavily focus on NRC’s AI maturity in its regulatory readiness and demonstrations of internal use of AI in cases.
The event will also have discussions with industry on the consideration of using AI in licensing. Registered participants can view the hybrid event via Microsoft Teams.
