Portage Files GAO Protest Over NNSS Contract Award to Navarro-Led Team

By ExchangeMonitor

In the latest challenge to Navarro Research and Engineering’s recent win of the new contract to provide environmental program services at the Nevada National Security Site, Portage has filed a protest with the Government Accountability Office over the award, with the GAO currently set to render a decision by late January. Officials with Portage and Navarro did not respond to requests for comment on the protest yesterday. Along with Portage, INTERA has said it would file a protest with the GAO over the National Nuclear Security Administration’s decision to award the new NNSS contract to Navarro. INTERA also has filed a size standard challenge over Navarro’s win with the Small Business Administration, with the SBA expected to make a decision on that challenge by the end of this month.
