United Cleanup Oak Ridge (UCOR), the Amentum-led environmental contractor at the Oak Ridge Site in Tennessee, suspended onsite operations Monday Jan. 26 while ice removal takes place from recent inclement weather.
“Only essential personnel who have been notified are to report to the worksite,” UCOR said in a Sunday night LinkedIn post.
“Employees authorized to telework are expected to telework or use PTO [paid time off] during site closures,” UCOR said. “All field operations, including craft workers, and required support staff (both exempt and non-exempt) will have a make-up day on Friday, Jan. 30. Again, no one should report to their onsite work location other than essential personnel authorized to do so.”
