The Savannah River Site Citizens Advisory Board will host its bimonthly full board meeting on Nov. 16 and 17 at the New Ellenton Community Center in New Ellenton, S.C. The agenda includes a planned presentation on mercury and a discussion on whether to prepare a lessons learned report on the “contract failures” for manufacturing containers for the Salt Waste Processing Facility, both of which the CAB’s Waste Management Committee will explore. Other sessions include a panel discussion on SRS’ next-generation workforce hosted by the CAB’s Strategic and Legacy Management Committee and an L-Basin update hosted by the Nuclear Materials Committee.
