13: Closed markup, National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2023, Senate Armed Services strategic forces subcommittee. 5:30 p.m. Eastern time, SR-232A. MARKUP IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.

14: Online townhall with Los Alamos National Laboratory Director Thomas Mason. 6 p.m. Mountain time to 7 p.m. Mountain time. Streaming online.

16: The Idaho Cleanup Project Citizens Advisory Board  meets at 8 a.m. Mountain Time. 

16: The Environmental Management Advisory Board for the Paducah Site in Kentucky meets in a virtual hybrid session starting at 5:30 p.m. Central Time. The meeting will be based at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, Emerging Technology Building, Room 109, 5100 Alben Barkley Drive, Paducah, Kentucky 42001.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
