UK NDA CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER TO JOIN ROLLS-ROYCE

Rolls-Royce has appointed Mark Lesinski as President of its Nuclear Services business, effective January 2014. Lesinski currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for the U.K. Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, and in his new role “will be responsible for the strategic direction and global expansion of Rolls-Royce nuclear services business,” according to a Rolls-Royce release issued late last week. "Mark brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise and an enviable track record of accelerated change and focused customer delivery. I look forward to welcoming him to our business,” Jason Smith, Rolls-Royce, President-Nuclear, said in the release. “We pride ourselves on our ability to drive operational and cost efficiencies for our customers through a comprehensive suite of nuclear services and specialist technologies. Mark’s appointment underlines our continued and long-term commitment to the global nuclear services market.”
