The Army Corps of Engineers issued a pre-solicitation notice late last week for two Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide Hazardous Toxic Radiologic Waste Architect-Engineering Services in support of its North Atlantic Division. Each contract could have a value up to $10 million dollars over a five-year ordering period. According to the notice, “Work will primarily be performed within the boundaries of the New England and New York Districts, but work may also be required at other locations within the boundaries of the North Atlantic Division and assigned mission areas.” The Corps plans to award contracts to both unrestricted and small businesses with work issued by negotiated performance-based and firm-fixed-price task orders under the IDIQ. The Request for Proposal for this contract is anticipated to be released on or about April 6, and an award is expected sometime in the summer.
