Washington Closure Hanford yesterday announced two new senior management appointments. Daniel Plung has been named director of Project Services. Plung last worked at Sellafield where he served as a program manager responsible for designing and implementing a management and compliance system. He previously worked at Washington Closure Hanford from 2005 to 2009, serving as manager of Infrastructure and Information Services and then deputy director of Project Services. Douglas Siron has been named Chief Financial Officer, in addition to his duties as controller, and reports to Plung. Siron served in “a series of senior financial management positions” with URS, the lead company in Washington Closure Hanford, before being transferred to WCH last March, according to a contractor release.
