The Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) will hold its annual conference in Washington, D.C., Oct. 12-14 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
The event arrives as the Army is currently without Senate-confirmed top leadership, with both Acting Army Secretary Adam Telle and Army Vice Chief Gen. Christopher LaNeve, who is also currently the service’s acting chief, set to deliver remarks.
At last year’s AUSA conference, then-Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and Energy Secretary Chris Wright announced the launch of the Janus program, or a joint program to deploy microreactors at military bases.
This year, an energy resilience panel will take place Tuesday featuring Assistant Army Secretary of Installations, Energy and Environment Jordan Gillis; Commanding General of the Army Combined Arms Support Command and Sustainment Center of Excellence at Fort Lee Sean Davis; and Principal Deputy Assistant Army Secretary for Installations, Energy and Environment Jeff Waksman.
