Beauvais Appointed as DNFSB’s Pantex Site Representative

Zachery Beauvais has been appointed as the new Site Representative for the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board at the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Pantex Plant, the DNFSB announced yesterday. Beauvais, a DNFSB staff member since 2010 who previously conducted safety reviews at both Pantex and Sandia National Laboratories, will take on this new role in August, according to the announcement. Beauvais was appointed to “advise the Board on the overall safety conditions” of Pantex facilities, help conduct technical reviews of these facilities and serve as a liaison with the Department of Energy and Pantex contractors, the announcement says.
